TCMS Girls Basketball vs. Christian County

Todd County Middle School played host to the Christian County girls basketball teams Thursday night. The Lady Rebels varsity won 40-22 but the JV lost 16-34. Scoring for the varsity Lady Rebels were: Ariel Johnson 13, Demetria Rose 7, Faith Johnson 8, Maggie Simons 8, Adrianna Westermann 2, and Jada Graham 2. Rose pulled down 13 rebounds and Faith Johnson had 10. Scoring for the JV were: Adrianna Westermann 4, Jada Graham 2, Kaylee Belanger 2, and Courtney Johnson 8. Taylor Gilliland had 10 rebounds.

The Todd County Middle School Boys traveled to South Hopkins Middle School. The Varsity lost 19-54 but the JV won 46-34. The TCMS girls basketball teams participated in a jamboree at Hopkinsville Middle School Saturday. Unfortunately the vasity girls lost all three of the games and the JV lost both of their games.

In the first game the varsity lost to University Heights 23-27.

Todd County Middle School's Boys and Girls basketball teams competed in a jamboree at Logan County High School Saturday. The format was a twenty minute running clock per half and the score was started over at halftime.

The Lady Rebels varsity team faced Olmstead. Todd County won the first half 30-8 and the second half 22-6. Listed below are individual scoring:

Todd County Boys Soccer vs. Hopkinsville

Todd County Boys Varsity Soccer vs. Hopkinsville High School
In the opening game of the 3rd District soccer tournament Todd County fell to Hopkinsville 3-1. Hopkinsville scored first on a goal by Jim Adkins 10 minutes into the game. 10 minutes later Armando Flores tied the game on a free kick from about 30 yards out. The score was tied 1-1 at the half. Zach Henson put Hopkinsville ahead with a goal 9 minutes into the second half and Jim Adkins scored again for Hopkinsville on a penalty kick with 11:20 left in the game. Todd County had 14 shots with 7 on goal. Hopkinsville had 36 shots with 24 on goal. Todd County's Harlan Edwards had 21 goalkeeper saves and Hopkinsville's goalkeeper had 6 saves.

Todd County played well giving one of their best efforts of the season. Their teamwork was excellent. Todd was in the game until the end but just came up short.

Todd Central ended the regular season on a high note with a 3-1 win over Muhlenberg South on their senior night. Kyle Power led the Rebels with 3 goals that were assisted by Armando Flores. Harlan Edwards had 15 saves in the goal with 10 of those in the 2nd half. Ethan Edwards once again anchored the Rebel Defense and helped secure the victory. The victory pulls the Rebels to 6-8-2 on the year for the second best season in program history.

On October 13th, Todd County Central girls' match will be played against Christian County @ 5:45pm and the boys' match against Hopkinsville will be immediately following the girls' match.

11th District Volleyball Tournament @ TCCHS

On October 16th, Logan County will play Todd County Central @ 6:00pm, Russellville will play Franklin-Simpson @ 7:00pm, and the championship match will be played @ 8:00pm.

The boys soccer game between Todd County and Russellville ended in a scoreless tie. Todd County had 19 shots with 5 on goal and Russellville had 22 shots with 7 on goal. Harlan Edwards had 7 keeper saves for Todd County and Charleston Sydnor had 5 saves for Russellville. Outstanding defensive play by Luke Perdue and Ethan Edwards saved several goals.

Junior Varsity

In their last game of the regular season Todd County's JV defeated Russellville 3-2. Michael Rager scored two goals and Clay Strader scored one. Todd County had 18 shots with 9 on goal while Russellville shot 10 times with 6 on goal. Todd County goalkeeper Colby Bicksler had 4 saves. Their record for the season is 5-4-2. Todd County faces Christian County Friday night at 5:00 in JV district tournament which is being played at Fort Campbell.

TCCHS Boys vs. Glasgow; TCCHS Girls vs. Fort Campbell

The Todd Central Boys Soccer hosted Glasgow and The Todd Central Girls played host to Fort Campbell for Senior Night honoring the seniors playing in their last home game. Patty Barbagallo, Shirley Case, Rachel Meyer, and Ashley Dalrymple were the seniors honored for the Lady Rebels. Jeremy Marin, Harlan Edwards, and Tyler Cisneros were the seniors receiving recognition for the boys team. In the first game of the evening Todd Central's Boys team topped Glasgow 3-2. Todd led 2-0 at halftime following a penalty kick by Kyle Power with 23:38 left and a goal by Armando Flores with 3:12 left in the first half. Glasgow tied the game with a PK by Dustin Thomerson 4 minutes into the second half and a goal by Andrew Froedge 6 minutes later. Todd went back up on another goal by Flores with 10 minutes to go in the game. Todd County had 13 shots with 8 on goal and Glasgow had 24 shots with 15 on goal. Harlan Edwards had 13 goalkeeper saves for Todd Central and Glasgow's goalkeeper had 5 saves.

The Todd Central Girls were defeated by District foe Fort Campbell 5-1 in the second game. Todd Central trailed 4-0 at the half. Patty Barbagallo scored the lone goal for Todd Central.

Butler County Boys Soccer at Todd Central

Varsity Boys Soccer
The game with Todd County Central and visiting Butler County ended in a 2-2 tie after also being knotted 1-1 at the half. Todd County had 16 shots with 7 on goal. Butler County had 16 shots with 10 on goal. Todd scored first on shot by Armando Flores with an assist from Kyle Power 12 minutes into the game. Easton Weathers tied the score on a goal with 4 minutes left in the first half. Weathers scored again 2 minutes into the second half to allow Butler County to go up 2-1. With 14:06 to go in the game Todd tied the score 2-2 with header by Clay Strader from a crossing pass by Bryce Bicksler. Todd County goalkeeper Harlan Edwards had 9 saves and Butler County's Jeff Carmen had 5 saves.

JV Boys Soccer
Todd County's JV defeated Butler County 6-1 after leading 2-0 at halftime. Todd County had 28 shots with 19 on goal. Butler County had 1 shot on which they scored. C.J Broderick, Bryce Bicksler, Justin Higgins, Jordan Walters, and Colby Bicksler each scored for Todd. Butler County knocked one goal in themselves. Todd County's Bryce Bicksler, Justin Higgins, Caleb Slaughter, Jordan Walters, and Roy Ezell each had one assist. Butler County's goalkeeper had 14 saves.

Todd County Boys Soccer v. UHA

Todd County Central vs. University Heights

Varsity
UHA defeated Todd County 5-1. Todd held UHA scoreless until 8 minutes into the second half on a goal by Jordan Grace.
Joel Southall scored for UHA 6 minutes later to go up 2-0. Todd cut the lead to one on a header by Kyle Power with 13 minutes left in the game. Armando had the assist on the goal. With 9:44 to go UHA's Preston Workman made a PK to go up 3-1. Jordan Grace added two more goals late in the game. UHA had 48 shots with 23 on goal. Todd had 4 shots with 3 on goal. Todd County Goalkeeper Harlan Edwards had 18 saves and UHA keeper Lynn Adams had one save. Todd County's strategy was to keep the game close and tie or win by one. It worked well until late in 2nd half when Todd couldn't hold UHA off any longer.

Junior Varsity
UHA's JV got past Todd 1-0. The game was scoreless at the half. Todd County had 13 shots with 6 on goal. UHA had 11 shots with 8 on goal. Todd County's Colby Bicksler had 5 keeper saves and Roy Ezell had 2 saves. UHA's keeper had 6 saves.

Todd County Central Boys Soccer vs. Fort Campbell

Varsity
Fort Campbell beat Todd County 2-0 in a district matchup. Fort Campbell's Aldo Torres scored with 2:55 remaining in the first half and Mike Massie scored a goal 5 minutes into the second half. Fort Campbell had 25 shots with 14 on goal. Todd County had 7 shots with 4 on goal. Todd County goalkeeper Harlan Edwards had 12 saves and Fort Campbell's keeper had 4 saves. Todd County passed the ball well and played much better than when these two teams played earlier in the season.

Fort Campbell's JV team defeated Todd County 6-0 after leading 2-0 at the half. Fort Campbell had 24 shots with 13 on goal. Todd County had 6 shots with 3 on goal. Colby Bicksler had four keeper saves and Chris Yonts had 3 saves for Todd County.

Todd County came from 3-2 halftime deficit to defeat Hopkins Central 5-4. Kyle Power and Armando Flores each scored two goals and Michael Rager added another. Kyle Power had two assists and Michael Rager had one. Jeremy Marin suffered a head injury and was flown to a Evansville Hospital. He was later released with a severe concussion.
In the second game Christian County defeated Todd 9-0 in a game that was delayed due to the heat.

Varsity
Todd County defeated Russellville 3-0. Armando Flores scored 10 minutes into the game and Kyle Power scored again 2 minutes later on a Penalty Kick. Flores scored in the second half with 10 minutes to go on a Penalty Kick. Goalkeeper Harlan Edwards had 6 keeper saves which included a blocked PK for Todd County. Todd County had 16 shots with 10 being on goal. Russellville had 7 shots with 6 on goal. Todd County passed well and had great defensive play especially from sweeper Ethan Edwards.

JV
Todd County's JV team beat Russellville 5-2. The score at the half was 5-0 Todd County had 21 shots with 13 on goal. Russellville had only three shots including the the two PK's on which they scored. C. J. Broderick scored two goals. Justin Higgins, William Fox and Michael Rager each scored a goal. Chris Yonts had one keeper save for Todd County.

Varsity

Trigg County defeated Todd County 5-0 after leading 2-0 at the half. Trigg County had 37 shots with 16 being on goal. Todd County managed only 8 shots with 3 on goal. Todd County Goalkeeper Seth Powell had 11 saves and the Trigg County Keeper had 3 saves. Trigg County's Jeremy Butts and #5(name unknown) each scored twice and Jeremy Stamps added one goal.

Junior Varsity

Todd County and Trigg County's JV game ended in a 2-2 tie after being tied 1-1 at the half. Todd County had 12 shots with 4 on goal and Trigg had 8 shots with 2 on goal. Bryce Bicksler and Clay Strader each scored a goal for Todd County and Michael Rager had an assist. Trigg County's Goalkeeper had 2 saves.

Varsity: Todd County fell 2-0 to Christian County in a hard fought battle. A steady rain came down during most of the game making for a slick field. The game was scoreless at the half, then Christian County scored on a goal by D. A. Steen with 32 minutes left in the game and Aaron Hutchison added a goal with 8 minutes left to go. Todd County had 10 shots with two being on goal and Christian County had 18 shots with 6 being on 7 being on goal. Todd County keeper Harlan Edwards had 5 saves and Christian County's Jordan Holloman had two saves.

Junior Varsity: Todd County's JV team defeated Christian County 2-0. Todd led 1-0 at the half after a PK by William Fox. C. J. Broderick scored late in the second half with an assist by William Fox. Tyler Harris left the game with a knee injury that resulted in a red card for the Christian County goalkeeper. Todd County had 19 shots with 10 on goal. Christian County had 7 shots with three on goal. Todd County goalkeeper Colby Bicksler had three saves and the Christian County keepers had 8 saves.

Varsity: Todd County lost to Hopkinsville 5-1. Luke Perdue scored Todd's goal with an assist from Kyle Power. Todd County Goalkeeper Harlan Edwards had 14 goalkeeper saves and Seth Powell had 1 goalkeeper save. The score was tied 1-1 at the half.

Junior Varsity: The Todd County JV Boys lost 7-1. Todd's lone goal came on a PK by William Fox. Todd County's Colby Bicksler had eight goalkeeper saves and Chris Yonts had one save. Fort Campbell led 5-0 at the half.

Varsity

Todd County lost to Hopkinsville 4-1. Todd County shot 16 times with 6 being shots on goal. Hopkinsville had 23 shots with 16 being on goal. Todd County Goalkeeper Harlan Edwards had 12 goalkeeper saves. Hopkinsville scored on a direct free kick with 38 minutes to go in the in the first half and scored again with 9 minutes left in the first half. Hopkinsville led 2-0 at the half. Kyle Power scored Todd's goal on an indirect free kick with 28 minutes to go in the game to cut the lead to one but Hopkinsville scored on the next possession to gain the momentum back. Hopkinsville scored again on a penalty kick with under two minutes to go. Todd Co. fought hard, played an excellent game, and had their chances to score, but couldn't quite get over the hump.

Junior Varsity

The Todd County JV Boys lost 6-0. Todd had five shots with three being on goal. Hopkinsville had 22 shots with 12 on goal. Hopkinsville scored five goals in the first half to lead and added one more in the second half. Todd County's Colby Bicksler had seven goalkeeper saves. Hopkinsville's Goalkeeper had 3 keeper saves.

Todd County (2-0) beat Hopkins Central 4-1. Todd County shot 28 times with 14 being shots on goal. Hopkins Central had 18 shots with seven being on goal. Kyle Power scored three goals which included heading in a corner kick from Armando Flores and Bryce Bicksler added one goal for Todd County. Armando Flores had two assists and Michael Rager had one assist for Todd. Todd County Goalkeeper Harlan Edwards had 6 goalkeeper saves. Hopkins Central scored on a penalty kick with 34 minutes to go in the game. Todd led 2-0 at the half.

Junior Varsity

The Todd County (1-0-1) and Hopkins Central JV game ended in a 1-1 tie. Todd had nine shots with three being on goal. Hopkins Central had eight shots with four on goal. William Fox scored for Todd on a penalty kick early in the second half. Hopkins Central scored a goal to tie late in the game. Todd County's Colby Bicksler had four goalkeeper saves. Hopkins Central's Goalkeeper had 2 keeper saves. The game was scoreless at the half.

Todd defeated Butler County 4-2 in Todd's season opener. Todd County had 24 shots with 11 being shots on goal. Butler Co. had 15 shots with 5 being shots on goal. Kyle Power scored two goals and had one assist, Bryce Bicksler scored two goals, and Jeremy Marin had an assist for Todd County. Todd County Goalkeeper Harlan Edwards had 3 keeper saves. The score at half time was 2-1 in favor of Todd County.

Todd County won at Butler County 10-0. Todd County had 24 shots with 10 being on goal. Butler County did not get any shots off. William Fox scored 3 goals and had 4 assists, C. J. Sweeney leads UMP DIRTcar Modifieds national point standings

Randle Sweeney of Clifty , Ky. , saw his amazing 10-race win streak come to an end with a second-place finish on June 6 at Paducah ( Ky. ) International Raceway, but he got back on the winning track the following night at Soggy Bottom Raceway in Morgantown , Ky. , and remained atop the UMP DIRTcar Modified national points standings.

Sweeney, 43, has now won in 12 of his last 14 starts and owns 15 overall triumphs.

Todd County Fire win Soccer Championship

In the Ambush 6 v. 6 soccer league in Hopkinsville the Todd County Fire won the Tournament championship and were regular season champions in the Boys Middle School division finishing with a 8-1 record.
